today announced that a large U.S.-based multinational food product
manufacturer awarded JBT FoodTech a $4.8 million contract for a new automated
batch sterilization system. This new system will provide the processor with
leading technology to process a wide range of packaging configurations while
reducing labor costs and improving energy efficiencies versus traditional
equipment.

JBT FoodTech received this order in June 2009 and the system is currently
scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2009.
