JBT FoodTech Named One of 'The Best Companies to Work For in Brazil'

CHICAGO, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- JBT Corporation (NYSE: JBT) announced today that its Brazil based JBT FoodTech business (formerly FMC FoodTech) has been named as one of "The Best Companies to Work For in Brazil" in 2008. This award marks the ninth time the JBT FoodTech Brazilian business has been ranked in the top 100 in the 12 years this award has been given.

JBT FoodTech was among the initial 450 companies that applied this year to the Great Place to Work® Institute Brazil, an affiliate of the San Francisco, California based Great Place to Work® Institute, Inc. (GPTW). The final list selection was based upon research conducted by the GPTW through employee surveys of their employers and workplace environments. The GPTW is a research and management consulting firm with international affiliate offices in 41 countries and is dedicated to building a better society by helping companies transform their workplaces. This study was published recently by Epoca Magazine, a Brazilian weekly news and analysis magazine. GPTW also works with other leading regional publications, such as Fortune magazine, HR magazine and the Financial Times, in 30 countries to publish and recognize the Best Companies.
