CHICAGO, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- JBT Corporation (NYSE: JBT)
announced today that JBT AeroTech has initiated new service and maintenance
operations at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The contract has a
three year term and is expected to generate in excess of $5 million in revenue
over the life of the contract.
The Raleigh-Durham operations are managed by JBT AeroTech's business,
which manages and maintains airport and airline facilities across North
America. The scope of the contract includes operating and maintaining the new
baggage handling system for Terminal 2, monitoring and maintaining all of the
gate systems across Terminals 1 and 2, and implementing a customized
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to provide improved
maintenance efficiency and reliability.
